In 2016, we launched our very first event.  It was a “Clothing Swap”.  The idea was simple.  We wanted to give folks in the Trans Community a chance to have access to free clothing as a source of empowerment.

In 2017, we held both our 2nd & 3rd swaps; each one almost doubled in size from the one before it.We know that for some, it can mean the difference between being able to land a job or just live as our authentic selves.  It also helps eliminate or at least reduce, an expense our community has thereby opening up more of our personal funds for trans care.

Thanks to the generous nature of all who have participated in donating to us, we have been given the opportunity to pay it forward by launching a community closet program with project partners across TN, as a way to keep our donations circulating, rather than sitting in a shed somewhere.

If you are interested in joining us and establishing your own community closet, please let us know by signing up below!

We are also looking for folks who are interested in hosting drop off centers for us as well.

So far, folks who have taken in donations from us have reported a rise in community engagement for their facilities.
